When people think of "painting" a floor, they’re usually thinking of a quick weekend project with a bucket of garage floor paint from a big-box store. In a commercial or industrial setting, that’s a recipe for a peeling mess within a month.
At Greenville Supreme Epoxy Flooring, we look at floor painting differently. Whether it's a high-traffic retail space in downtown Greenville or a manufacturing floor near the GSP airport, we provide industrial-grade coatings designed to take a beating and keep looking professional.
We’ve seen what happens when the wrong "paint" is used in a commercial kitchen or an auto shop. We once got a call from a warehouse manager in Greer who had tried to save money by having a general painter "roll on some grey paint" over a weekend. By Tuesday, the forklifts had literally peeled the floor up like wet wallpaper. We had to come in, grind the mess off, and do it right with 100% solids epoxy.
This page covers our specialized coating services for businesses, retail environments, and outdoor surfaces that need more than just a fresh coat of color.
A lot of our customers call us asking for "garage floor paint." We know what you mean, but we’re going to give you something much stronger. Standard floor paint is essentially a thin film that sits on top of the concrete. Our garage floor epoxy is a chemical bond.
In the Upstate, our garages deal with red clay tracking in, humid summers, and tires that get incredibly hot from highway driving. Cheap paint can't handle "hot tire pick-up," which is when your tires literally pull the paint off the floor as they cool down.
Our systems involve:
Your outdoor living space shouldn't look like a dusty slab of gray rock. We apply specialized epoxy and polyaspartic finishes to patios and porches across Simpsonville and Five Forks to turn them into actual extensions of the home.
The challenge with outdoor epoxy is the sun. Standard interior epoxy will "chalk" and fade if it’s exposed to direct sunlight for long periods. For patios, we use UV-stable systems that maintain their color and gloss regardless of the South Carolina heat. These finishes are also much easier to spray down with a hose than bare concrete, which tends to hold onto pollen and mold.

Safety is the priority around a pool. Bare concrete gets slick, and old-school "cool deck" finishes often flake off or become abrasive over time.
We offer specialized anti-slip coatings specifically for pool surrounds. These systems are:
We recently finished a project in Spartanburg where the homeowner was tired of the kids slipping on their stamped concrete. We applied a clear, textured polyaspartic over their existing stone pattern—it kept the look they loved but made the area actually safe for a pool party.

For our industrial clients in the manufacturing and distribution corridors, floor markings aren't about aesthetics—they’re about OSHA compliance and worker safety.
We don't just "paint" lines. We use high-build epoxy or polyurea for safety line striping. This ensures the lines don't disappear after six months of pallet jack traffic.

If you run a retail shop or a dealership in Greenville, your floor is a huge part of your branding. A cracked, stained concrete floor makes a business look neglected.
Our showroom finishes provide a high-gloss, "mirror-like" appearance that makes spaces look larger and brighter by reflecting overhead lighting.
We offer:
Whether it’s an outdoor dining area for a restaurant or a commercial walkway, outdoor concrete needs protection that won't fail under the sun's rays.
We utilize Polyaspartic and Urethane coatings for these applications. Unlike standard epoxy, these materials are "aliphatic," meaning they are chemically incapable of yellowing or ambering from UV exposure. They are also flexible enough to handle the expansion and contraction of concrete during our seasonal temperature swings in the Upstate.
No. Paint is a thin, water or oil-based product that dries as the liquid evaporates. Epoxy is a two-part resin that undergoes a chemical reaction to harden. Epoxy is significantly thicker, harder, and bonds much more aggressively to the concrete.
Most commercial projects take 2 to 3 days. Day one is almost entirely prep (grinding and repairs). Day two is the base coat and decorative elements. Day three is the final topcoat. We can often work around your business hours or weekends to minimize downtime.
Yes, because we use industrial-grade coatings rather than traffic paint. However, in extremely high-volume environments (like 24/7 forklift traffic), we recommend a "re-stripe" of the topcoat every few years to keep visibility at 100%.
Generally, no. For the best result, we prefer to remove the tile, grind the concrete beneath it, and apply the coating directly to the slab. Coating over tile creates too many failure points at the grout lines.
We use light-colored pigments and specialized additives designed to stay cooler than bare, dark, or stamped concrete. While no surface is "cold" in a South Carolina summer, our pool deck systems are much more comfortable for bare feet.
